Well, now Mr. Pain has gone and purchased two new chains. One is shaped like a bottle of Ciroc Vodka and the other like a bottle of Nuvo. *le sigh*

He then proceeded to tweet: “Shout out to the ppl that feel like I should never buy myself anything. I spend money on me and my family, just bcuz I don't tweet my kids new power wheels and pix of they private school y'all feel like I'm stupid but like I always say y'all do y'all and ima do me.

Bruno Mars Loves That White White

Wow, bathroom attendants are really snitching on people these days. Bruno Mars was enjoying a little of that white girl in the bathroom of a Las Vegas hotel and the next thing he knew he was being arrested. First and foremost can I say...noooooo not you too Bruno! You were so sweet and innocent on that Travis McCoy song and the BOB track had girls all over the world swooning! Why!?!?! I demand to know.
Anywho, now that that's out of the way. TMZ obtained the police report from the incident, in which LVMPD officials state a bathroom attendant at the Hard Rock Hotel informed security "there was a man in the bathroom stall with possibly a man using drugs." According to the report, the attendant went on to say he could "see a male in a striped red shirt with a baggy of white powder substance."
Law enforcement officers made their move -- cops say they asked Bruno to "give over whatever narcotics he had." According to the report, Bruno then "pulled out a white powder substance, which was consistent with cocaine, from his left-front jeans pocket." Cops say Bruno --aka Peter Hernandez-- "admitted he did a foolish thing and has never used drugs before."
The report shows ... once the substance "came back positive for cocaine," Bruno was shipped off to the Clark County Detention Center and booked for possession of narcotics.
*deep sigh*

Im not sure why, but Jay-Z was spotted chilling with one of the richest men in the world, Warren Buffet, over the weekend in Buffet's home state of Omaha. Steve Fobres was also there and rumours are swirling. Jay apparently rolled up to Omaha's Hollywood Diner and, despite only Forbes' cameras being allowed in, word got out the three were dining there.
Accrding to Omaha.com: While Forbes and Jay-Z may seem an unlikely pair, Jay-Z's wealth is estimated at $150 million by some sources. That's short of the $900 million or so needed to make the Forbes list but certainly enough to make some high-caliber financial advice worthwhile.
We can't wait to see how this one plays out.

Bounty Killer Hit a Woman With What?!

Oh dear...it seems that Jamaican dancehall star Bounty Killer has been arrested after a woman showed up at a local police station bloody and bruised claiming he attacked her with a HAMMER! I have no words.
According to police, Bounty Killer is facing assault charges for striking the woman. “She turned up here sometime after six and said that he used a hammer to beat her up,” said Deputy Superintendent, Altermoth Campbell of St. Andrew's police department. Bounty Killer, born Rodney Price, will stand before a judge sometime next week to answer the charges.
Just this past April, Bounty Killer was arrested by the Constant Springs Police, for striking his girlfriend. He then allegedly called the woman and threatened her in the presence of the police. Eventually the woman dropped all charges against Bounty Killer. It is unclear if the woman assaulted last night is the same woman who was beat in April of 2010.
Bounty Killer is also facing previous charges for possessing a firearm, possession of marijuana and other charges.
A hammer...really?

MJ's Mother Blames Tour Organizers for his Death

Katherine Jackson doing whatever she can to reprimand anyone who may have had a hand in Michael Jackon's death. Now, Katherine and MJ's kids are filing a lawsuit against AEG Live for their negligence of hiring Michael Jackson's physician, Dr. Conrad Murray and for breach of their agreement to provide physical care.
According to TMZ, Katherine claims AEG's contract with Michael "created a legal duty for AEG to act reasonably toward the physical well-being of Michael Jackson." She says AEG never conducted a background check on Dr. Murray and that "AEG did not provide a doctor who was truly looking out for Jackson's well-being and did not provide equipment."
AEG is also being accused of causing emotional distress to Michael's son Prince because he was allowed to witness Michael dying.
"The purpose of this lawsuit is to prove to the world the truth about what happened to Michael Jackson, once and for all," says Katherine's attorney, Brian J. Parish.
I dunno what to make of this. I guess we'll have to see how it all plays out.

Tyler Perry's new drama "For Colored Girls" stars Janet Jackson, Thandie Newton, Whoopi Goldberg, Kerry Washington, Loretta Divine, Anika Noni Rose, Kimberly Elise, Macy Gray, and more. The movie was moved up from a January 2011 release to November 5 in order to receive a push for the Oscars. For Colored Girls" brings to the screen Ntozake Shange's Obie Award-winning play, a poetic exploration of what is to be of color and a female in this world.
It looks really intense and very Oscar worthy.

Finally there is a male version of Karrine Stephans, well at least in the "tell-all book" aspect. Da Mizza is a hip-hop producer who has sold over 30 million records and worked with artists like Dr. Dre, Michael Jackson, Hootie & The Blowfish, Eric Burdon and others. According to Da Mizza, who produced Mariah's hit singles "Crybaby," "Irresistible" and "I Still Believe," he was Mariah Carey's live-in boyfriend while working at LA's Power 106. Now he's releasing a book that will apparently reveal details of "one of the industry's most passionate love affair."
According to Da Mizza, Mariah's lawyers gave him a cease and desist request to block the release of the book, where he exposes several other key industry figures. Da Mizza says,"It’s the truth. When it comes to the music industry I know how deep the rabbit hole goes ... and I’m taking fans along for the ride. But there’s a lot more to my story than introducing Mariah to Eminem."
He continued to say, "It’s the truth of why Dr. Dre’s “Detox” has been in limbo for more than a decade ... it’s how Jay-Z became huge enough to run Def-Jam Records ... it’s how I salvaged Janet Jackson’s relationship with radio programmers all over the world. I can smell Lady GaGa's outfit through the screen. She rocked this meat dress by Franc Fernande when accepting one of her MTV Video Awards the other night. So what's the story behind it? Well, GaGa says she didn't mean to offend any vegans or vegetarians but it was a statement she had to make: "As you know, I am the most judgment-free human being on the earth. However, it has many interpretations, but for me this evening … if we don’t stand up for what we believe in and if we don’t fight for our rights, pretty soon we’re going to have as much rights as the meat on our own bones." Kimora Dishes on Baby Phat Departure

Last month we told you that Kimora Lee left Baby Phat. Now she's dishing on her departure and revealing that it definitely wasn't expected! She spoke to the Daily News during her Fashion Week show stops this weekend, and made it clear the split wasn't amicable. Kimora said: "It's over. It's absolutely over. It was very abrupt and sudden. I was shocked, it's very, very sad for me. It was totally unexpected."
However, she wouldn't necessarly confirm if she was fired from the clothing line. She continued to comment on her departure from Baby Phat saying, "Oh, I am completely gone….Honey they changed the locks on me! I’m busy with Hello Kitty, Fabulosity….I’m relaunching KLS. I want to cater to this new generation that’s grown up with me.”
Yikes! That doesn't sound like a pretty situation, but we're sure Kimora will be alright.

MTV Video Awards Red Carpet Arrivals

The ladies went for a wide range of fashion choices for the MTV Video Awards. Lady GaGa was out in full-costume including some impossible-to-walk-in heels from Alexander McQueen, which she wore effortlessly. Meanwhile, Ciara rocked it in Givenchy; Eva Marcille looked stunning with a new blonde do; Rosario Dawson went for blue leather and Amber Riely (one of our fav cast members from "Glee") went above the knee!

The guys were rocking their casual best for this years VMAs. Drake got dapper in a suit and continued the theme with his Rat Pack inspired performance, Trey Songz look yummy in a dope green leather jacket (his was probably my fav look), Ne-Yo went for a one-color look that I'm not crazy about, Usher and his artist Justin Beiber went for matching outfit and Travis McCoy was well...Tavis McCoy: unique! LoL.

Kanye West vs. Taylor Swift

We ALL know that at last year's VMAs, Kanye West snatched the mic from Taylor Swift as she was accepting her award for video of the year. Well, after a year of jokes and laughs and analysis, the two once again appeared at the awards....

Taylor Swift performed first and lamented over having her mic snatched. My Twitter homie Jae said it best: "She wrote a song about being...interrupted. Girl it was never that serious." In the song Taylor talks about Kanye being 32 and still maturing. I was kinda embarrassed watching this for the simple fact that the poor little girl act is tired.

Kanye closed the song by premiering his song "Runaway" with Pusha-T of the Clipse. Needless to say, he shut it down. From mixing live to the lyrics where he toasted the assholes, douche bags and jerkoff's of the world, it was brilliant. Kanye for president. LoL.

The verdict? Kanye 2 - Taylor 0. (He gets two for 1) Making her a household name and 2) being an MVA show-stopper)

Uh-oh looks like T.I. may lose AXE body spray as a sponsor after his pill-popping arrest. TMZ was the first to report the developments:

T.I.’s ecstasy arrest has caused a serious stink with some of his sponsors — in fact, the people behind AXE body spray are considering kicking the rapper to the curb.
A rep for AXE tells TMZ they’re “troubled by [T.I.'s] arrest” and have been forced into “reviewing our promotional activities” with the rapper. Translation — it doesn’t look good for T.I.
T.I. — real name Clifford Harris — locked down a deal with AXE earlier this year after promising the company that he was “working to become a more positive role model.”
So far, T.I. is still featured on the company’s website … but it smells like that could change at any moment.

Who knew Jay-Z was such a romantic? According to the NY post, the rapper threw his wife Beyonce an intimate party for her 29th Birthday last weekend. Here's how the paper is reporting it:

He took over nightlife im presario Scott Sartiano's and Richie Akiva's about-to-open Chelsea restaurant, The Darby, and invited friends including Alicia Keys, Serena Williams, Kanye West and Sean "Diddy" Combs to toast Beyonce . . . while DJ Cassidy took over the decks. A spy reports, "Jay brought a six-layer cake out for B, they were really affectionate. Cassidy played Stevie Wonder's 'Happy Birthday.' The party went on until 6 a.m. Both Jay and B's moms were there, but there was no sign of her father or her sister. Diddy was the last to leave. Jay filled the room with orchids."

Is this a new couple alert? I dunno at this point but Halle Berry was photographed in Paris passionately kissing French actor Olivier Martinez. Halle's new alleged beau is the former husband of Australian pop star Kylie Minogue.
Sources say the two lovers walked hand in hand in the streets of Paris, laughed and hugged each other and did not try to hide from photographers. At night , the couple dined at an Italian restaurant where they could not keep their hands to each other.

Anyways, the blond with Chris is Deanna Pena AKA Miss Dade County. He's been spending a bit of time with her lately, despite piling groupies into the trunk of his car over the weekend.

Prosecutors dropped all but one charge against hot-headed rapper Foxy Brown, who faced seven years in prison for violating a restraining order, lawyers said Tuesday. Brown appeared in Brooklyn Criminal Court for a 1 minute 22 second hearing and she learned the grand jury failed to indict her with two felonies and three of four misdemeanors.
“I’m so happy, I’m just very happy,” said Brown, dressed to the nines in a skimpy teal dress, dark sunglasses, a leopard print scarf and tan platform shoes. “Never once did I worry about this,” she said.
Brown was arrested in July for allegedly shouting obscenities at neighbor Arlene Raymond after running into her on a Prospect Heights street. Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, then bent over and exposed her butt to the woman.
Raymond got a restraining order against Brown after she said the rapper beaned her with a BlackBerry in 2007. Brown’s lawyer, Salvatore Strazzullo, said his client will face at worst community service for the single count of misdemeanor criminal contempt if convicted. “Mooning is not an aggravated act,” he said.

As we reported yesterday, T.I. and hi wife Tiny were both arrested for drug possession (check out their mug shots above). We originally reported that there were some suspicious-looking cups in the car that T.I. was driving (he was pulled over for making an illegal u-turn). But it turns out that toxicologists have confirmed to TMZ, that pills found in the couple’s vehicle were Ecstasy.
This is bad new for T.I. who was recently released from a 7-month prison stint. But I have a feeling that pills will turn out to belong to someone else...wink wink, nudge nudge, if you catch my drift.

“Deputies smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A narcotics investigation ensued.” The couple was released on $10,000 bail each this morning. Geezum. Photos of Tiny being arrested make me sad. And she's looking back like, "where is my man"? Always down, eh Tiny? But seriously, does T.I. just NOT enjoy being free?

p.s. The latest in all this is that it may have possibly been sizzurp that was found in the car. This new photo shows styrofoam cups in the front and back cupholders. Cops aren't saying which controlled substance they found in the car, but it may have been Sizzurp ... aka codeine syrup.

TMZ.com obtained legal documents filed in Martin County on August 27 — four days after Tiger finalized his divorce from Elin Nordegren — in which he lists himself as a “single man” and agrees to pay back the gargantuan loan by January 15, 2016. According to the docs, Tiger’s property spans across three parcels of land and will include a tennis court, oxygen therapy room, multiple pools and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

Lil Wayne's New Album Coming in 1 Month

Lil Wayne fans, rejoice! A little jail time is not gonna stop your favourite rapper from releasing music. Fans can expect new material from Weezy via a 10-song project called "I'm Not a Human." The album will be released digitally on Wayne's Birthday, Sept. 27. But that's not all, with Wayne's tentative release date from prison set for November 5th Young Money also wants to drop Carter IV that day and hold a welcome-home concert that night, which Wayne would headline. Lauryn Hill rocked the bells this weekend in NYC. Despite a few tweets that I saw about her strained voice (insert sad face), it seems that a lot of people enjoyed LBoogie's performance. She made the biggest splash by ending her set with "Fu-gee-la" and bringing out a host of celebs including: Mary J Blige, Swizz Beatz, Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Chris Rock and John Legend. Before the celebs rolled out, Ms. Hill also brought to the stage her 6 children and told the crowd, "Now you know why I've been gone so long." awww! Nicely done Ms. Hill. Now get in the studio and grace us with an album!

Swizz Beatz Is In Looooove

A lot of men, especially in the industry, are secretive about their relationships. Well, not Swizz Beatz. He openly spoke with MTV News recently about his love for Alicia Keys, who is pregnant with his child.

"I look at my relationship with my wife as a union that's just connected ... spiritually. I'm not into the names and the superstars and this and that. I've been around that my whole life. It means nothing to me. It's just about great people."

The producer also revealed that his connection with Alicia has only enhanced his life:

Chris Brown Gets the Judge's Approval

As we all know, Chris Brown showed emotion during his tribute to MJ, is starring in movies and dropping music on the regular. Well, courts is watching cause the judge overseeing Chris's case (stemming from the RiRi incident) is giving him kudos for his progress and following the terms of his probation so well.
During the brief hearing, the judge reviewed the progress report document turned in by Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos … and she was very pleased with what she saw. The judge said Brown has been attending all of his court-ordered domestic violence counseling sessions and has been “working consistently” on completing his community labor.
His next progress report is November 18.

The ink isn't even dry on the divorce papers and already Elin Nordegren, Tiger Wood's ex wife, is breaking her silence. Elin spoke with People magazine and the main thing she wanted people to know was that she didn't try to injure Tiger with the golf club the night he crashed his car last year. “There was never any violence inside or outside our home,” she said. “The speculation that I would have used a golf club to hit him is just truly ridiculous.”

She apparently wasn't even aware of Tiger's infidelity before that fateful night. “I’m so embarrassed that I never suspected—not a one. For the past 3 1/2 years, when all this was going on, I was home a lot more with pregnancies, then the children and my school.” After finding out, in the end, a marriage “without trust and love” wasn’t good for anyone, she said. Elin also told the magazine, “I’ve been through hell. It’s hard to think you have this life, and then all of a sudden—was it a lie? You’re struggling because it wasn’t real. But I survived. It was hard, but it didn’t kill me.”

In the interview, Nordegren would not disclose the amount of the divorce settlement but did say “money can’t buy happiness or put my family back together.”

The magazine said the interview was conducted over four visits lasting a total of 19 hours at the rented Windermere, Fla., home where she now lives with their two children, a 3-year-old daughter, Sam, and an 18-month-old son, Charlie.

When Beyonce and her hubby Jay-Z docked at their latest destination on their $300,000-a-week vacation, she was rocking this interesting little outfit. Apparently its made by Boxing Kitten and features a lot of bold colours and patterns. I don't mind the graphics so much as I do Beyonce's middle area which looks....stuffed? I don't know if that's the word I'm looking for but something looks off. She also went with the shoeless look from the thighs down, a gold thick chain and a leopard-print bag. There might just be a bit too much going on here.

Timbaland Was Just Misunderstood

So it seems that Timbaland's family overreacted a bit last night after $2-million worth of jewelry was stolen from his Malibu home and he didn't take it very well. When the family couldn't locate him, they got the police department involved and said there may have been a possible suicide attempt. Apparently, Timbaland was on the phone earlier in the day with his brother-in-law and was deeply upset about something. A helicopter located Timbo's Escalade and ground crews pulled him over and began talking to him. At some point they put Timbaland in a patrol car and took him to his residence, where they continued speaking with him and family members. Deputies called for paramedics to come and evaluate Timbaland. After the evaluation, paramedics determined Timbaland was not a threat to himself and left.
Well, with all the drama it turns out that the family just overreacted. Today, Timbaland just told Ryan Seacrest on his show that he simply took a drive to clear his head. It's true that someone stole something from him but he says there was no suicide attempt. Well, it's beautiful to see that his family has that much love for him to become so concerned.

Nine years ago today (August 25th), Aaliyah Dana Haughton, Anthony Dodd, Eric Foreman, Scott Gallin, Keeth Wallace, Gina Smith, Douglas Kratz, Christopher Maldonado, and Luis Morales died tragically in a plane crash that shocked everyone. At the time of the tragic accident, Aaliyah was just 22 years-old. She is remembered for her amazing singing voice and undeniable beauty.

Aaliyah was born on January 16, 1979, in Brooklyn, New York City, New York. She later moved to Detroit and was raised there. At age 12 she was signed to Jive Records and in June 1994, her debut album peaked at number 18 on the Billboard 200 and sold over three million copies in the United States. Aaliyah's debut single, "Back & Forth", topped the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for three weeks and was certified Gold by the RIAA. I remember jamming to this song at age 8...

The successful single was followed with "At Your Best (You Are Love)" and "Age Ain't Nothing But a Number". In 1996, Aaliyah left Jive Records and signed to Atlantic Records. She worked with record producers Timbaland and Missy Elliott, who contributed to her second studio album, "One in a Million." The album yielded the single "If Your Girl Only Knew", which topped the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for two weeks.

It also generated the singles "Hot like Fire" and "4 Page Letter". Aaliyah attended the Detroit High School for the Performing Arts, where she majored in drama and graduated in 1997 with a 4.0 grade point average and began her acting career that same year; she played herself in the police drama television series "New York Undercover". Around the same time, she contributed on the soundtrack album for the Fox Animation Studios animated feature "Anastasia", performing a cover version of "Journey to the Past" which earned songwriters Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Aaliyah performed the song at the 1998 Academy Awards ceremony and became the youngest singer to perform at the event.

In 2000, Aaliyah landed her first major movie role in Romeo Must Die. Aliyah served as an executive producer of the film soundtrack, where she contributed four songs. "Try Again" was released as a single from the soundtrack; the song topped the Billboard Hot 100, making Aaliyah the first artist to top the chart based solely on airplay. The music video won the Best Female Video and Best Video from a Film awards at the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards. It also earned her a Grammy Award nomination for Best Female R&B Vocalist. The soundtrack went on to sell 1.5 million copies in the United States.

After completing "Romeo Must Die", Aaliyah began to work on her second film, "Queen of the Damned". She played the role of an ancient vampire, Queen Akasha, which she described as a "manipulative, crazy, sexual being". She was scheduled to film for the sequels of The Matrix as the character Zee. Aaliyah went on to release her eponymous album, "Aaliyah", in July 2001. Produced primarily by Timbaland, the album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, selling 187,000 copies in its first week. The first single from the album, "We Need a Resolution", peaked at number 59 on the Billboard Hot 100. On August 25, 2001, at 6:45 pm, Aaliyah and various members of the record company boarded a twin engine Cessna 402B (N8097W) at Marsh Harbour, Abaco Islands, The Bahamas, to travel to the airport in Opa-locka, Florida, after they completed filming the music video for "Rock the Boat". The group was unaware that the plane was unable to hold all the equipment of the Cessna 404 they had initially flown in by. Aaliyah, pilot Luis Morales III, hair stylist Eric Forman, Anthony Dodd, security guard Scott Gallin, video producer Douglas Kratz, stylist Christopher Maldonado, and Blackground Records employees Keith Wallace and Gina Smith were killed. I swear, every time I see photos of these 2 fab people, they're always on vacation. This time Jay-Z and Beyonce are Cannes, France after yachting along the coast of Italy and France. Beyonce, Jay-Z, cousin Angie, Jay's BFF Ty Ty and his kids, and a few other family friends were all spotted relaxing aboard the yacht in Monaco yesterday, and docking in Cannes today. Must be nice. Bey is looking super cute these day.
P.s. wanna know how much their yacht costs? $377,000 a week. Called Altitude, it comes with a gym, jacuzzi, every watersport, jet ski, snorkel gear you can think of, plus sleeping space for 12 people, and a crew of 14 to wait on you hand and foot. Damn.

I'm not sure why, but Master P's son Lil Romeo decided to celebrate his 21st birthday without his shirt. Not that we mind, since he's legal now, but it's a teeny bit odd. Either way, the celebration was held at Millions of MilkShakes and it was about more than Romeo. The event served as an opportunity for him to bring awareness and raise funds for children with Cancer.

Brandy Sued by Canadian

R&B singer Brandy is being sued by a Canadian DJ named Marc Mysterio who claims she didn't deliver on a promise to write and sing "32 bars of music" on his track. He says Brandy was paid $10,000 for the song. Although Marc estimates that he lost out on $25,000 because of Brandy's inaction, he's come up with a $6-million lawsuit. *scratches head*. The lawsuit was filed on Friday in LA's Superior Court.
I'm not sure how homeboy plans to prove that he deserves 6 milli over this.

Gosh, I remember the days when I rocked Baby Phat like it was nobody's business. *hangs head in shame*. Well, Kimora Lee is now sparing a generation of girls the embarrassment of looking back in shame at their fashion sense at a young age. On Sept. 1, she's parting ways with Kellwood Company, the parent property for Baby Phat and Phat Fashions.
The model-turned-mogul-mama released the following statement about her decision:

Wyclef Goes into Hiding

Apparently Wyclef Jean has gone into "hiding". He claims to have received death threats telling him to get out of the country, which has caused him to 'hide' with his family in a secret location in Haiti. Odd. Usually politicians go into hiding AFTER a coup d'etat, NOT before they're elected.
It's still uncertain if Wycelf meets eligibility requirements to run for the Haitian presidency. His eligibility was under question after claims that he has not lived in Haiti for five consecutive years before the election, a mandate in the nation's Constitution. But a lawyer for the artist says he's been paying taxes in Haiti for the last 5 years, and also owns a tv station there, which should make him qualify. The decisions were supposed to be made yesterday, but have now been extended till Friday. More than thirty people have filed to run for presidency, including Wyclef's uncle, and many of them are under review.

Erykah Badu Pays for her Nakedness

Remember Erykah Badu's controversial video for the song "Window Seat"? The one where she stripped naked while walking in the same place that Kennedy was shot in 1963? Well, now she's paying for it with a $500 fine and six months probation.
Police in April cited her for disorderly conduct after a witness made a sworn complaint. A number of children were among the tourists and other random passers-by seen on the video. Dallas city spokesman Frank Librio says Badu paid the fine Friday.

Forbes has released its annual hip-hop cash king list. Jay-Z tops the pile, as Forbes estimates that he grossed $63 million last year. Rounding out the top five are Dr.Dre ($17 million), Lil Wayne ($20 million), Akon ($21 million) and Diddy ($30 million).
According to Forbes, Jay-Z's income level places him in the 35% tax bracket, which means he'll pay Uncle Sam about $22 million this year--a sum greater than the total earnings of any other rap star besides second-ranked Diddy. "Jay-Z is in a league of his own right now," says Ryan Schinman, chief of Platinum Rye, the country's largest buyer of music and talent for corporations. "There are very few artists of any genre, not just hip-hop, who've created such brands for themselves."
By the way, if you're curious, Drake landed at number 11 and is the highest-earning newcomer on the list. He banked $9 million over the past 12 months, thanks to a new record deal, an advertising pact with Sprite and an agreement with Virgin America that plasters his likeness onto the sides of airplanes.

Montana Fishburne, who is the daughter of actor Laurence Fishburne, recently decided to embark on a porn career. She's received quite a bit of attention for her decision especially considering that she's 18 and the daughter of a well-known actor. The only person not giving her any attention is her father. TMZ reports that Montana told media yesterday that she spoke to her father for the first time since all the porn hoopla.
According to Montana, her dad said, "I'm not going to speak with you 'till you turn your life around." Laurence was referring to his daughter joining the ranks of Vivid Entertainment as a porn star. Montana says Laurence added, "You embarrassed me." And that he had this parting shot: "You used your last name. No one uses their real name in porn."

Foxy Brown Indicted For Violating Order of Protection

We told you that last month Foxy was arrested for an argument with her neighbour who had an order of protection against Foxy from a 2007 confrontation. Following the arrest she entered a non-guilty plea and then went back to court to ask for an order of protection to be granted for her against her neighbour. The judge instead simply extended the order of protection that the neighbour had.
Well now, Foxy Brown has been indicted on charges of violating that order of protection. Prosecutors say Brown violated the order in July by screaming at neighbor Arlene Raymond before bending over, baring her buttocks at Raymond and showing her underwear while shouting an obscenity. The indictment announced Friday charges Fox with criminal contempt in the second degree. She could face up to one year in jail.

Montana was arrested last February after allegedly barging into the alleged victim’s home (the complaint does not give her name), forcing her into the bathroom and beating the crap out of her. We’re told the victim had “significant injuries.”
The L.A. City Attorney’s Office has charged Fishburne with battery, and will be adding charges of false imprisonment and assault with a deadly weapon.
Montana, who’s being repped by the effervescent Shawn Chapman Holley, has pled not guilty and the case is pending.
Fishburne’s boyfriend, Jerome Greene, was also charged in the attack against his ex-girlfriend but already pled no contest to domestic battery.
